If you thought the last couple weeks were light, prepare yourself. This week sees only one new wide release film making its way to theaters. That release though is a big one for fans of Vin Diesel and cult sci-fi series, The Chronicles of Riddick. ~Chris
Vin Diesel has skyrocketed back to the spotlight due to the success of the Fast and Furious franchise. That spotlight has given him the opportunity to bring back his cult sci-fi character, Riddick. It was a long road to getting Riddick back on screen, with Diesel supposedly using his house as collateral to finance the film. But in the end Diesel was successful and Riddick is back and R-rated, just like he was meant to be.
