Ah, relief. With the new consoles launched and all of the major games out, it’s time for a little bit of relaxation. The release list will look thin like this for a few months, with a few big titles sprinkled into the mix from time to time. Also, it’s Thanksgiving, so make sure to spend some time with loved ones this week. ~Don P.
[one_half]Last week was Need for Speed: Rivals, which for the record I am not enjoying at all, and this week is F1 2013 (PS3 and Xbox 360). I can’t say this is more suited for me, but I do like simulation racing games. F1 games have a huge following, especially in Europe, but I’ll patiently wait for Gran Turismo 6 instead.[/one_half]
[one_half_last]Tiny Brains (PS4) is a co-op puzzler with four charming little lab experiments. It’s the only next gen release I see this week, but I’m sure everyone is still trying to make their way through the launch titles. [/one_half_last]
[one_third]If for some reason you skipped out on Halo Reach and Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, now is your chance to pick up both in one with the Halo Origins Bundle (Xbox 360). For most, this isn’t a big deal. However, I still don’t own a 360 and would like to play Reach at some point, and I’m sure there’s at least one or two people like me, right?[/one_third]
[one_third]When the Vita gets games, it’s kind of a big deal. At least to me. Even if I have no intention on playing them, like Ys: Memories of Celceta (Vita), I just know someone is going to be looking forward to it. It may not be a system seller, but broadening their library is still important. Y’s is a popular RPG, and this one has the biggest overworld map in the series. [/one_third]
[one_third_last]Namco is at it again, bringing a manga to the video game scene as a fighting game. I know little about it, but half-enjoy the Naruto games, so Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers (PS3) will probably appeal to the niche crowd it was made for and that’s about it. There’s nothing wrong with that, though.[/one_third_last]
