Here we sit, a month into 2014, and speculation is still the name of the game but things will start to fall into place in the coming weeks.

With that said, we bring you the 2014 February Power Rankings.

10. Thief (9 points, new entry)
Those of us with PS4s and Xbox Ones really want an action game on our systems- Assassin’s Creed 4 was a long time ago.

9. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (10 points, 1 first place vote, +1 position change)
Besides bringing Lightning back as a playable character, playing dress-up is sure to be a gratifying experience. Gunblades and dresses go hand in hand, as we all know.

8. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (11 points, new entry)
More loot is never a bad thing, and Blizzard bringing a massive expansion gives another reason to return to to a past GOTY candidate.

7. Watch Dogs (12 points, -3 position change)
There is a bad moon rising over Watch Dogs, as some really unfortunate rumors abound around the game. The idea seems solid, but faith in its quality is shaky at best.

6. Halo 5 (13 points, +1 position change)
Halo 5 moves up a spot this month but word that it might not be a 2014 title could see it vanish from the list very quickly.

5. South Park: The Stick of Truth (17 points, no position change)
Trey Parker and Matt Stone are up to their old, controversial tricks as they bring familiar faces to the 360, Windows and PS3 this March.

4. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (20 points, +2 position change)
I am eager to ride my horse around in search of monsters to kill- this game can’t come soon enough.

3. Dark Souls II (20 points, 1 first place vote, no position change)
The best combat system in recent memory gets a second installment as players venture out looking for fame, glory and frustration….lots and lots of frustration.

2. Titanfall (33 points, 3 first place votes, no position change)
Microsoft’s early fortunes for 2014 rely on Titanfall being the must have game for “next-gen”, based on impressions we can’t share, it is.

1. Destiny (36 points, no position change)
Activision is hoping Bungie has another Halo in their hat, the rest of us just want an awesome new experience and can’t wait to get it.
