I have so many games to play, so let’s get to business. This is the last week of March, with a few big hitters coming to the plate to wrap the month up. In retrospect, I’ve played more games in the past week than I have December of last year through February of this year. Now, hopefully it will let up just a hair so I can enjoy some of these games… ~Don P.

One of my more-anticipated games for 2014, the expansion Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (PC) comes to a fraction of its audience this week (EDITOR’S NOTE: The right fraction). There’s a wealth of new content with the first major expansion to one of my favorite games to hit consoles last year. I haven’t decided if I am more excited about the new Crusader class or the additional Act to play through, but the Adventure mode sounds just as awesome, too. Being able to freely roam the world of Diablo III and hunt bounties sounds fantastically fun.

[one_third]releases25_cabelasI have a strange obsession with hunting games, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that knows me to see Cabela’s Big Game Hunter: Pro Hunts (PC, Wii U, PS3, & Xbox 360) listed up here and not below without a paragraph about it. Really though, every other one lets me down by adding some atrocious story, and since I haven’t played one in awhile, I can’t offer any expert advice on this one. But I think I’m going to try it![/one_third]

[one_third]releases25_destinyofspiritsFree to play games can be good, Hell, I spend hours upon hours every week playing Marvel Puzzle Quest without spending a dime. The last few freemium games on the Vita have been a little disappointing, though. Destiny of Spirits (PS Vita) is going to get some play time because it’s free, and it has some neat art. Not that I don’t have enough to play on my Vita for once, what with Luftrausers, Final Fantasy X HD, a just-purchased GTA: Chinatown Wars, and Steamworld Dig, I don’t have time to do much of anything. But it’s free, has strategy and RPG elements, and has neat art. Need I say more? [/one_third]

[one_third_last]releases25_batmanBatman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition (X360) caught me off guard this week. I didn’t particularly care for the last Batman: Arkham games, console or handheld, but it makes sense for them to bring the handheld version over for console players. This was the more-interesting one out of the two, though, as it was 2.5D. [/one_third_last]

Crusader Kings II: Rajas of India (PC) is the sixth expansion to one of the greatest games of the last game generation. As with every expansion, Rajas of India adds a smattering of new content. Mostly, it allows players the opportunity to play as an Indian ruler and opens up more of the map to the east. Of course there are new events and decisions specifically designed for Indian rulers. For those bored with Paganism, Christianity, and the rest of the now-standard religions in the game, there’s three new choices. But let’s be honest with ourselves, we all know it’s the elephants that are drawing us back for more Crusader Kings II.
