With just a handful of weeks to go in the year, the films aiming for end of year awards are going to start hitting the box office fast and furiously. This week we get Gravity, a terrifyingly beautiful film.  ~Chris

For most people, space is an unknown and the unknown can be a terrifying place to journey. Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity, his first feature length film since Children of Men, is a beautifully horrific experience. Our review is coming later today but here’s the short recommendation on it, go see it.

Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake are two of the biggest names in entertainment and getting them both together to co-star in the thriller Runner, Runner must have been quite a get. Sadly, if we go by the early review, it seems that despite their overwhelming charm and star power, the film is a dud.
