Happy Launch Day! Critically Sane is officially live. If you don’t know what we are about, let me tell you. Critically Sane is the end result of four critically minded people that love entertainment but want to discuss it like adults. We plan on bringing you the best content on film, television and video games but you have probably heard that from countless other endeavors before. Knowing that fact, we understand we have to gain your trust but we need you to stick around for that to happen.
So how do we get you to stay? Well, everyone likes to win free stuff and we here at Critically Sane want to give you something for being part of our community and helping to make us better. Starting today we kick off the Monthly Community Comment Lottery and the winner of said lottery will get a retail video game (up to $60) of their choosing. All you have to do is comment on our content and you’ll get an entry into the lottery. Every comment is worth one ticket, so, the more you engage with us (and others) on the site, the more chances you have to win something cool. Lottery entries cease at 11:59 PM August 31, 2013 and the winner will be revealed during the first week of September.
But the comment lottery isn’t the only way to win stuff from us this month. We currently have two other community giveaways to engage in. First, if you are a PC gamer or just want a forum to discuss stuff, join our Steam Community Group and when we hit 50 members, one lucky member will get a free game from Chris’s Steam Inventory. And lastly, if you have a Facebook account, give our page a Like and when we hit 100 Likes, one lucky member will get a gift card to one of the following gaming outlets (PSN/Xbox Live/Nintendo E-shop/Steam/Google Play/iTunes/Amazon).

One winner will be drawn from our Steam Community Group when the group reaches 50 members. Simply join the Critically Sane Community Group on Steam for an entry.
FACEBOOK LIKES GIVEAWAY
One winner will be drawn from our Facebook Group when the group reaches 100 Likes. Simply Like the Critically Sane Facebook for an entry.
Rules and Guidelines:
1. Prizes are for standard retail Blu-Ray, DVD films or games only. Special editions are not included unless otherwise noted.
2. Competition is open to all Critically Sane users, except for staff of Critically Sane, LLC and immediate relatives. Contests are not limited to the US/NA.
3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Critically Sane, LLC reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value.
4. Spamming of comments or cheating of any nature will result in disqualification from the monthly contest.
5. Prizes are not transferable.
6. The winner of the competition and how to claim one’s prize will be posted during the first week of the following month on the site.
7. Failure to claim a prize within seven days of the reveal forfeits said prize.
8. Winners of a monthly drawing are ineligible to win the next monthly drawing.
