2015 has barely begun and if we’ve learned anything over the past year, we don’t know how things are going to ultimately turn out. But we have an idea or two. Below is our first entry of the 2015 Power Rankings, showcasing what we think are our strongest contenders for 2015’s game of the year.

7t. Batman: Arkham Knight (10 points) – The formula started to feel a bit stale in Arkham Origins, but even so, it’s hard not get excited for the next Batman game.

7t. The Legend of Zelda WiiU (10 points, 1 first place vote) – Jeff’s blind allegiance to the Zelda series is why this one is here, the rest of us are a bit more skeptical of Nintendo’s grand claims for the future of the series.

7t. Tom Clancy’s The Division (10 points, 1 first place vote) – The Division has the potential to be great but then again so did Watch Dogs, The Crew, and Assassin’s Creed Unity. Ubisoft has a lot to prove but even so Don has high hopes for this one.

7t. Galactic Civilization III (10 points, 1 first place vote) – Tony has said Galactic Civilization II was the best space 4X game ever made before and he’s super excited for this sequel. Could it take its predecessor’s title? And more importantly, can it impress anyone else besides our strategy guru?

6. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege (12 points) – Siege looks like a return to the good old days of Rainbow Six. But it’s Ubisoft so we’ll see.

4t. No Man’s Sky (14 points) – None of us can really answer what No Man’s Sky really is but it’s that unknown quality that has us really excited.

4t. Star Wars: Battlefront (14 points) – All eyes are on DICE to see if they can deliver this in a working state. If they can though, it is going to be fantastic.

3. Halo 5: Guardians (27 points, 1 first place vote) – You’d think we’d be a bit skeptical of Halo 5 after the catastrophe that was the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection but we’re just super excited to see where 343i brings the series.

2. Rise of the Tomb Raider (30 points) – This is the follow-up to our 2013 Game of the Year. I’m pretty sure nothing else needs to be said.

1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (31 points, 1 first place vote) – Dragon Age: Inquisition stole our attention at the end of 2014. The Witcher looks like a better, more realized RPG than that. The sky is the limit here.
